DCI strategically leveraged the building’s existing MEP infrastructure to maximize efficiency at 388 Beale while also integrating new systems to meet the requirements of the thirteen (13) new ADUs and common area space. Significant upgrades included the construction of a new electrical closet with meter stacks back-fed from the building’s main switchgear to independently service the new units.
Plumbing, we tied into existing systems and performed strategic core drilling to route new lines servicing the added units.
HVAC, we navigated complex existing conditions by modifying equipment and rerouting ductwork to accommodate reduced head heights within the existing garage, all while maintaining full code compliance.
We collaborated closely with the owner's design team to ensure optimal use of available space while simultaneously reducing schedule duration to support an expedited project turnaround.
